As we all know that, on the event of Global Star Ramcharan Birthday the movie team has released a teaser title followed by “Peddi Pehelwan Glimpse” 0n 27th March 2026.
The movie was showcasing in the village backdrop of Andhra Pradesh during the period of 1980 rural sports action-drama backdrop. It follows a spirited villager who unites his community through sports to defend their collective pride and dignity against a powerful rival.
Getting deep dive into the details of movie teaser, initially this movie was promoted as a cricket centric film, from the latest upcoming updates confirms that it is a blend of both cricket and Mud Wrestling (Khusti). Ramcharan has undergone into an intense physical transformation of rugged and rustic to the character demands in the movie.
Ramcharan’s avatar appears in a rugged, muscular look with long hair tied in a man bun, a full beard and a nose ring. The teaser opens up in a wrestling pit, showing peddi training by lifting heavy sand bags and tossing them into lorries. He was also seen wielding a large wooden mace (Gadha) and wrestling opponents in the mud under heavy rain.

Technical and Production Details:
The production designer Avinash Kolla built a massive village set on the outskirts of Hyderabad recreating that vintage houses, market areas and sports arena. Maker’s intention was to create that realism in the film related to the area of Vizianagaram for the period of 1980’s.
The film’s locations were planned in multiple locations in Indian origin locations including Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kanyakumari, Pune and International schedules Srilanka. The action sequences between Shiva Rajakumar sir and Ramcharan was filmed in a steel factory in Hyderabad. The Mega Mass introduction song (Rai Rai Raa Raa) was shot in Mysuru featuring of 1000 dancers.
Apparently films Director was Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana. Movie was presented under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers under Sukumar Writings. The film was produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi cinemas. The music was composed by A.R.Rehman for the original score and soundtrack of the movie.
Cinematography was handling by R.Rathnavelu, who was previously worked for Rangasthalam and Mahesh Babu’s One – Nenokkadine movies. Editor by National Award winner Navin Nooli and Dance choreography composed by Jani Master.

Digital and OTT Rights:
The post theatrical digital streaming rights was for all languages has been acquired by Netflix and the deal was reportedly valued between 105 and 130 crores. The trade reports are analyzing this is the biggest and highest OTT deals for solo film starring of Ram charan.
On the other hand, the non-theatrical rights acquired by T- series for approximately 35 – crores. Overseas rights for estimated 40 – 42 crores setting a high benchmark for any other Tollywood films.
