The official teaser has released on March 16, 2026, reveals a story centered on an unlikely romance. Suriya plays a character named by Sanjay Vishwanath a 40 year old international pistol shooter who forms a bond with younger women. The female lead opposite was done by Mamita Baiju. The Bollywood Glamour queen Ravina Tandon makes her return to Tamil cinema after 25 years of her film career. Technical Team and Production Details:
Vishwanath and Son’s movie is slated under joint venture between Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and suriya’s owns 2D entertainment. The movie budget is estimated to be a mid to high budget production, with significant investment in international locations for the shooting sequences. The film was currently in the VFX and dubbing phase. Movie was in the tight schedule of dubbing and suriya has reportedly completed his dubbing for the Telugu and Tamil versions.
For this new age love film, music was composed by G.V.Prakash Kumar. And the film’s cinematography was handling by Nimish Ravi, who recently received acclaim for his work on the latest Malayalam sensational Psychological horror movie Bramayugam. The film’s editing was handling by Navin Nooli, National Award winner for Nani’s Jersey. Art direction was by Sathyanarayanan, focusing on realistic sports and urban backdrops.

Digital Rights and OTT Details:
Netflix has officially secured the digital streaming rights for Vishwanath and Sons. The film will exclusively available on Netflix following its theatrical run. The movie team has officially announced that the film was releasing on all five languages Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. While the movie release was particularly slated its theatrical release on all set for July 2026. The specific OTT date will be finalized based on its box office performance.
Moreover, all the south Indian movies will arrive on OTT from 4 to 8 weeks after their theatrical release. Tentatively, the OTT rights and digital rights were sold for substantial amount estimated approximately at ₹85 crore. The Sun Network has grabbed the satellite rights for the movie, and the film will premiere on Sun Tv (Tamil), Gemini Tv (Telugu), Udaya Tv (Kannada), Surya Tv (Malayalam).
