Exclusive Naga Chaitanya NC 24th Film Glimpse out, “Vrushakarma will be my Bench mark movie of my entire career” – says Akkineni Naga Chaitanya from his latest movie press meet. Following by the latest hit “Thandel” Naga Chaitanya was in jet speed in his upcoming projects.
Naga Chaitanya starrer Vrushakarma has created a strong impact following through its first glimpse released on March 05th 2026. This auspicious mythical thriller was directed by Karthik Dandu (of Virupaksha fame) staring Naga Chaitanya as Arjun as treasure hunter.
Cast and Crew Details:
The lead actor Naga Chaitanya was playing as Arjun and opposite female lead was Meenakshi Chaudary as Daksha reportedly plays an archeologist who discovers hidden relics and Antagonist as Sparsh Srivastava(Balika Vadhu fame in Hindi) and supporting artists was Jayaram was casted for a pivotal role as Professor Ranganath. Character artist and Commedy actor Sathya who is famously known for his performance in Matthu Vadalara is also a part of this auspicious movie. Zarina Wahad and Raghu Mukherjee was on boarded for major roles in the film.
Film Highlights and Story Plot:
The movie which also involves the PAN India director Sukumar as he features screenplay and also presenting the movie through his Sukumar writings. The movie script also commands great art works and sets for that realism in the movie and the film was slated on a large scale. The recently released video introduces a dark super natural world addresses a battle between antagonist and protagonist. Following all the elements, the movie plot was set up in an intriguing mythological mythical and mystical thriller under super natural powers.

Technical Team and Production Details:
Vrushakarma is a high budgeted movie which was produced by Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC) in association with Sukumar Writings. The film was mostly depending on visual graphics so as to bring that supernatural life to the world. The VFX supervisor was Rajeev and the cinematography was handling by Neil D Cunha and the music was composed by Ajaneesh B. Loknath prominently known for his work for Kantara and Virupaksha. The films editor was Naveen Nooli National Award Winner and the movie production designer was Nagendra Tangala who’s was previously worked for Naga Chaitanya’s “Thandel”.
Aiming for PAN – India Release:
The films unit was planning to release the movie through PAN India wide as the story plot connects to every region and will be released in multiple languages following by Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The release date wasn’t officially finalized by the film unit and it is surely slated for a 2026 release.
OTT & Digital Rights Updates:
Amazon Prime Video and Netflix major platforms are in discussions for the rights of this film. The movie current valuation is approximately ₹65 crore, and in the other side of the business the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and Karnataka Theatrical business has been locked for approximately ₹45 crores by Sithara entertainments. The films total budget was between ₹110 crore and ₹125 crore+ and the movie vrushakarma is the most expensive project in the film career of Akkineni Naga Chaitanya’s.
While the official OTT streaming partner for Vrushakarma has not been formally announced, several reports indicate significant interest and high valuations for its digital rights.
