Fans have been waiting for Yash Toxic movie updates, and today we finally have some blasting news regarding the Sandalwood star’s 20th film. Sandalwood’s highly anticipated film “TOXIC: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups” starring Yash and Kiara Advani was quite nearer to release through out the globe. The recent trailers created a strong buzz throughout all languages and regions. The movie is on peak promotional phase and the films release is nearer in the month of March 2026. The film which is directed by Geethu Mohan Das.
In its short span, the film unit has released its First single “Tabaahi” on 2nd March 2026. The official teaser released on 20th Feb 2026 has gained a massive response all over the regions and crossed 200 million views in its first 24 hours.
Cast and Characters:
Yash is confirmed to play the character name “Raya” and another role by name following “Ticket” had a strong intense speculation that having a father and son dual characters in the film (Yet to confirm by the film unit).
We have an eye on heroines who are well known in their respective industries that, Nayantara from Kollywood and Huma Qureshi from Bollywood (on a negative role) Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth (Kantara II fame) playing female leads in this gangster’s paradise.
The supporting cast of the movie is quite interesting that the Bollywood actor Akshay Oberoi (as Tony) has been taken on board and Sudev Nair (as Karmadi) has also been part of this gritty underworld action thriller.
Story and Production Details:
The film is all set in the era period of 1940s to 1970s in the post-colonial region of Goa. Movie main plot is circulating around the smuggling syndicates around the shadows network. The film’s philosophy rooted in the idea that “Power is not granted – it is seized”. The film was shot simultaneously both in Kannada and English and it will be dubbed into Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil and was shooted in IMAX format.
Technical Details:
The film was shaped up in the production banner of KVN productions (Venkata K. Narayana) and Yash’s (Monster Minds). Visual effects by BAFTA winning studio DNEG. The action part was choreographed by Hollywood’s JJ Perry (John Wick and Fast Furious) and associating with National Award winners Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee. Cinematography was handling by Rajeev Ravi and editing by Ujwal Kulkarni (KGF Franchise). Music was composed by Ravi Basrur for intense background score and songs vishal Mishra and Tanishk Bagchi. Kunal Sharma leads sound design.

Release and Distribution Details:
The film has set new records with the massive distribution rights throughout the major cities across the India. Dil Raju has bagged the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana distribution rights for whopping record of ₹120 crores. North Indian and Nepal region was distributed by Anil Thadani’s AA films after KGF. Tamil Nādu with multi partner dealing with Think Studios (Chennai City) WhiteNight/Trident Arts for ₹63 crores. Kerela right picked up by E4 entertainments targeting a release across 350 screens. Music rights by Zee company studios.
Finally, the film release date is locked globally by 19th March 2026 following by the major Indian origin festivals like Ugadi, Gudi Padwa and Ramzan (EID). The film is all set with high-profile box-office clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
